Eric G. French - Chief Executive Officer

Eric is currently a probation officer for the Portage County Adult Probation Department. He has more than 18 years of investigative experience. Prior to work at the probation department he worked as the out bailiff for the Portage County Municipal Courts. He was also an investigator for the Public Defender's Office also in Portage County. Mr. French was the part owner and operator of a highly successful investigating business in Atlanta, Georgia. One of his highest credentials includes his service in the United State Army. He served in Operation Noble Eagle and Operation Iraqi Freedom as a Military Police Officer. While serving in Iraq his team worked with covert agencies gathering military intelligence and investigating criminal cases. He is a decorated soldier and a proven leader.


Angela N. Makin - Chief Operations Officer

Angie works for the Portage County Adult Probation Office. She has been employed in the field for about 9 years. Her work at the Probation Office includes expungement investigations, coordinating the mental health and counseling programs, and statistical processing. Mrs. Makin holds a degree in Business Administration. Prior to her work with the Probation Department she was employed by a staffing service giving her vast experience in human resources development.


Emily J. Arus - Medical Assistant

Emily J. Arus, graduated from Ravenna High School in 2004 where she was involved in athletics, band, and other extracurricular school activities.

Upon finishing High School Emily completed courses at the Computer Technology Learning Center in Ravenna, Ohio. She is proficient in IC3 and certified in Microsoft Office systems.

Emily started at Northcoast Medical Training Academy in May 2008, and graduated in December 2008. She graduated with a 4.0 grade point average. She sat for the National Certifications in EKG, Phlebotomy and Medical Assisting. She achieved all the certification with above 90 scores. She is CPR and basic life support certified through the American Heart Association.

Emily serves Capital Securities and Investigations, LLC in our Accident Investigation Department. Mrs. Arus works as the medical administrator in this area. She administers first aid at the scene of an accident and will make the determination if an individual needs more advanced medical attention. Emily also assists in the collecting and confirmation of urine drug screens in the Employment Screen Department.


Kevin M. Howard - Chief Financial Officer

Kevin is a licensed Investigator in state of Ohio. His background includes both Military and Law enforcement experience that covers 19 years of services. Kevin is a U.S. Army Disable Veteran who served during the first Gulf War. He went on to serve as a Deputy Sheriff for over 10 years where he was commissioned as an Ohio Peace Officer.

During this time he worked in various areas of law enforcement to include road patrol, courthouse security, prisoner transports, and full service Corrections. During his career he received experience and certification in processing of evidence and photography, identify & collections of fingerprints, interview and interrogation of suspects, victims, & witnesses, conducting internal & Field investigations, courtroom testimony, and service of criminal & civil papers complied with extensive hours of tactical and investigative training. Kevin served as Union Director of Ohio Patrolmen Benevolent Assoc. (O.P.B.A.) for 2 terms and helped negotiate 3 contracts while representing his co-workers. For 2years Kevin was contracted as Security Consultant/Adviser for (A.S.Y.D.I.) Academic Sports Youth Development Inc. prior to becoming a member of the Capital Securities and Investigations family.
