Many companies have theft, fraud, excessive absenteeism and worker compensation claims that need to be address; however do not have the time to accurately conduct investigative activities. Investigations both large and small are very time consuming. Investigations develop beyond the scope of employees, law enforcement, or even evidence at times. These investigations could include employee theft, on the job accidents, or fraud and workers compensation. Private Investigators have the knowledge, skills, and time to produce great results and protect company assets.
Private investigators know how to develop leads, review documents, provide legal support during trials, and are often more experienced when interviewing clients. The use of private investigators gives companies the image of a well staffed and professional team. Since many PI’s are former law enforcement officers they can often obtain information that other sources can’t. Private Investigators most importantly have the time available to conduct such investigations.
Other reasons employers should use private investigators include: conducting surveillance, locating people and property, interviewing, determining quality witnesses, serving legal papers, providing additional insight, providing photographic support, review discovery documents, assisting in trial, and preparing defense presentations.
